Ethan is not interested in Henry and just wants to be alone for a while after dealing with the roommate, however before long Henry has wormed his way in and he’s wanting to spend time with him. I loved the difference in the two men and how Henry brings Ethan out. Thanks to a screw up with the reservations, Henry offers Ethan to share his room, which thanks to his friend is a luxury suite. Simultaneously, Henry’s rich friend bails on him because he’s ill, but he goes anyway. However an unexpected windfall from mysterious Aunt Dee Dee in Hawaii, gives him the funds to sign up for a ski trip through the campus travel agency. Ethan works at a deli and rather than spend his holiday with his feuding family has decided to stay at school, however his roommates loud and frequent sex with his girlfriend is making him crazy and he really has no money to do anything. I enjoyed this little story, about a young man discovering more about his family and finding love on the slopes (not that I enjoy skiing). This review can be found at Brief Encounters Reviews.
